The CHEFS CHOICE fried Bhallas are balls of fried Lantins (urad dal and moong dal dhuli also known as split & dehusked mung beans) soaked in brine and canned. These Bhallas are used in preparing a dish called Dahi Bhallas, that are the deep fried fritters made with lentils and are dunked in yogurt and topped with spicy and sweet chutneys with sprinkle of cumin powder, red chili powder and salt on top.
